By accessing or using HerdingCat ("the Marketplace"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Service
HerdingCat is a multi-vendor e-commerce marketplace that connects buyers with independent sellers. We provide the platform infrastructure for sellers to list products and for buyers to purchase them.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Registration
To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. Buyer Terms
- All purchases are made directly from independent sellers
- Product availability and pricing are set by individual sellers
- Shipping times and policies vary by seller
- Returns and refunds are subject to each seller's policies
5. Seller Terms
- Sellers must provide accurate product descriptions and images
- Sellers are responsible for fulfilling orders promptly
- Sellers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- HerdingCat may charge platform fees on transactions
- Sellers grant HerdingCat license to display their products
6. Prohibited Activities
Users may not:
- Sell illegal, counterfeit, or prohibited items
- Engage in fraud or misrepresentation
- Harass other users or sellers
- Attempt to circumvent platform fees
- Use automated systems to access the service
- Violate intellectual property rights
7. Payments
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. HerdingCat does not store your full payment card details.
8. Intellectual Property
The HerdingCat name, logo, and platform design are owned by HerdingCat. Sellers retain ownership of their product content but grant us license to display it on the platform.
9. Limitation of Liability
HerdingCat is a platform connecting buyers and sellers. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of items listed, the accuracy of listings, or the ability of sellers to complete sales.
10. Dispute Resolution
Disputes between buyers and sellers should first be resolved directly between the parties. HerdingCat may assist in mediation but is not obligated to do so.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or for any other reason at our discretion.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
